January 2025
In 2021 two teachers left the public schools and started a preschool and kindergarten program. They wanted to cultivate a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment for the youngest of learning. However, as the years have progressed, they have had an influx of families express their need for alternative options for older grades as well. Now partnering with Family Academy, an approved Private School in the state of Washington, the Nurtured Nuggets Academy will be offering a multi-age primary program for grades Kindergarten-fifth!
About Our Program
Nurtured Nuggets Academy utilizes a multi-age classroom approach. How is this done? Through project-based and small-group learning! This style of learning supports kids who might need a challenge to learn more complex skills or those who need extra support to review some skills and concepts. Multi-age classrooms allow students to progress at their own pace while incorporating individualized instruction. Students have the benefit of learning from other students, as well as ownership of their learning. We use a variety of curriculums to meet the need of our students. This will be a Christian Based program. In addition to the traditntal subjects: math, reading, writing, etc. Bible will also be taught and incorporated.
